asked me to do a tattoo, but want just check all the areas that people before you decide and do something permanent to my body! are tattoo’s tacky?

I can never seem to make up my mind if I like them or not. Sometimes I think they’re kool and others i just think it’s such a stupid thing to do. I personally don’t like the idea that it’d be on my skin every day for the rest of my life, I’d never get one, but do you like them? My dad says there’s nothing worse in the world, if you were ment to have pictures on your body, you’d be born with them, same with piercings. hmmm, but I dunno

I am a 40 year old woman/wife/mother I have two tattoos and I treasure them dearly.
I have never regretted having them done, I have a beautiful peace dove with my daughter and husbands initial next to it.
I also have a yin/yang in blue and pink which I equally love.
As you said sometimes you think they are tacky sometimes you think they are kool.
That is the whole substance of life for me, yin and yang, without one there would be no other eg;
Like/dislike
love/hate
good/bad
happy/sad
I could go on and on but I will spare you.
Just my thoughts.
By the way I didn’t get my tattoos until I was in my late 30’s.
