Why do many parents allow their children to have piercings and tattoos?

I am not trying to insult any parent who allows to his son about these things, but I was wondering why today's parents are fine with their teenage son or daughter get a piercing or a tattoo. I remember in high school, a girl said she was a lower back tattoo on his birthday. Another was to obtain an offshore drilling. I guess it goes with his parents, since it is a "gift" but I am confused why parents are very well with him. If I were to even consider such a thing as a teenager, my parents have a considerable adjustment. So why parents can be with your teen get a piercing or tattoo? My parents were wrong for not letting me do things as a teenager?

Believe me, their parents were or were not bad for their views. I am a single mother of two daughters, 13 and 15 years with a 7.5. old son. Both my daughters begged me to allow them to obtain lip rings. I thought I had lost my mind. They plan to pool their allowances and really believed he had changed his mind. They then asked his father, who said the same thing. Well defied my wishes and the youngest has itself. Needless to say, he did never to show it. Only pain left on the lip (labret ring). Our children are attacked by unseen forces. It is impossible to know what to treat or want to do with their bodies. We are a Christian family and you'd think would never ask that. But they do, and will. It's just the time If we live you do not stand for something (God) you'll fall for anything. I know my children are under attack and we must constantly pray for them. My son is mad about 7.5. My 15 years. Age can not wait until she is old enough to drink wine. And my 13 years. old believes material things that define who she is. Because of their classmates. You should not even begin thinking that going to Tattoo School is a good idea! It’s a brain-washing scam!! The ONLY way to train properly and safely in tattooing and piercing is to become an apprentice and use as much time and energy as it takes to learn the skills you need to apply yourself for your future career.

All of us had to go this way and it is really the only way you will achieve the result you need (^_^) You wouldn’t go to a work shop to learn how to be a Doctor would you? So don’t go to a school to learn a physical skill which takes years of fine-tuning and hard earned talent

Apply yourself and persevere and you will get there eventually.
