How to find a good body piercing studio?
I'm looking to get my nose pierced, but have no idea where to go. I wanted go to a court "piercing studio, and not just be done with a gun, but I'm not sure how to go about locating one, or make sure it is high quality, health, etc. Any ideas?
The best thing is to ask someone who has had experience with the body piercing of several studies in your area. If you have friends who are heavily cross, the best is online. Run a search on Google for drilling body "(Your City)" and then start investigating all the results you get. Most studies have extensive reviews online at sites like rateitall.com and a city search. I have no piercings, but that's how I found the tattoo parlor I have used yet and again without complaining.
How would I obtain a career in body piercing?
I’m really interested in getting into body piercing. I’ve found some online programs, but I’m skeptical of their authenticity. I’m also unsure if shops would even consider hiring you if you’ve learned by an online program. How would I go about getting into the body piercing industry?
The best way is to get an apprenticeship from a knowledgeable body piercer. Many of the online programs are just people trying to get as much money as possible for a little bit of (usually bad) info.
Getting an apprenticeship can be hard. Most reputable piercers will not just give an apprenticeship to the first person that comes along. You will need to prove that you are a hard worker and willing to learn to do things the right way. It may take longer but it is worth it to make sure you learn to do things correctly so your future clients are safe. To be the best, you need to learn from the best. Good Luck.
