body corset piercing

What happens when your body rejects a piercing?
I’m just curious. I have so many I’d like to get, I’ve looked at the corset and it looks fun, but it a play piercing and if I was to get it I’d want it to be permanent.
Is that possible?
i wouldn’t get the corset because my friend got it and it was always getting caught on her shirts and one of the strings really got pulled so she had to take them out! it looks really pretty though..
