body piercing gauge sizes

I pierced my ears with a gauge size 2. if I let them heal completely and implement them, how big will the hole be?
I know that bodies are all different, but if I go out, I expect the hole still there?
I think it depends on how much time you have had in those who had measured the ears that I have never seen completely closed, especially when they were for some time.
20 gauge smallest possible size for lip piercing?

I just got my lip pierced about a week ago. Can I buy a lip ring smaller then 20 gauge or is that the smallest?
Im asking because i DO NOT want a huge-a** hole below my lip. ^.^

I am pretty sure 20 gauge is the smallest you can go, also you will not have a big hole or scar they heal pretty well once they are taken out for good.
