What do you think of this poem?
It is in the style of "For Rosa Parks" by Charles Coe. Please tell me what you think! 11.09 for firefighters would have been easier to turn on their heels, running with their tails between their hind legs for comfort Your family would have been easier to stay powerless at the foot of the stairs of a fire burning in their eyes But I took the stairs without Ignore late debris that pierced their flesh and smoke You clog the lungs raised numbers on the shoulders of the support their bodies writhed its soothing screaming and some were victims of the fire and remember never left the new building, however, all are united in their resistance, their sacrifice, and enduring value. On that fateful day 11/09
Thank you God! It is a moving poem

For the Firefighters On 9/11
It might have been easier
To turn on your heels,
Run with your tail between your legs
Back to the comfort of your families
It might have been easier
To stand helpless at the foot
Of the fiery staircase
Burning before your eyes
Yet you charged up the endless stairs
Ignoring the rubble that pierced your flesh
And the smoke that clogged your lungs
You hoisted the figures
Up onto your shoulders
Supporting their writhing bodies
Soothing their cries
And some remembered few
Fell victim to the flames
And never came out
Of the building again
Yet all are united
In their strength, their sacrifice,
And their undying courage.
On that fateful day
9/11
It is very worthy of telling to the
firefighters on 9/11’s families.
I think it’s great.
