Nose piercing in school.?

So yes, I have a nose piercing and my principle was interested in me because it is against our "dress code" in our school. Honestly, I do not understand what the hell is wrong with him, obviously! This is not as is "distracting" or a "violation of health" to anyone, not me. I have had since the seventh grade I was before come to this school and I knew their dress code. I am one of the best students in my class, 4.0 GPa and all, I study my *** off and work very hard in my classes IB. I know I'm not over any other person and dress code applies to everyone. So tell me, what I can to get in? Because I think it is my body, so it must be able to do what I please, provided they do not contravene not to anyone. This is America! I thought it was the beginning of the campaign, freedom of expression and what is not. And do not tell me this is not freedom to do the crazy language that can burn flags, but the nose ring is not freedom of expression ?!?!?!
