I always wanted my tongue pierced as long as I remember. But 3 years ago I was told by a piercer would not do it because there was a vein. She asked me to do off-center to avoid … He said finally enter the vein and break. Last year I spoke to another piercer and he said he was a load of waste which could certainly offset is … Now, I do not want to risk breaking the vein as a piercing, but I wonder …. this punch was correct? I wondered as I know many people until it is offset from the exact same reason ….

Hmmmmm … my tongue and a load of other holes. They did it to see if my luck, where found. If she does well next to vein, I wouldnt expect to rub on that, because there will be muscle tissue between the vein and a bar. Jump to another studio and ask again. Go to giving the advice never to 2 of 3.

Honest opinion on a tongue piercing.?

I’m twenty years old, and I desperately want my tongue pierced. It’s not my first body piercing, by far. I’ve had my ears pierced eleven times, and my navel twice. I’m just a little iffy on the tongue because everyone is talking about the risk factors involved. I personally have never heard of anyone bleeding to death from the piercing, but that seems to be the worst case scenario that everyone loves to tell when you mention you want it. At any rate, let me know what you think.
Just thought of something to add! Is drinking soda a problem, and if so, how long should I wait before I drink it?

I don’t think you should get a tongue piercing.
Tongue piercings are VERY trashy.
They can get infected easily and it’s hard to get rid of the infection. I wouldn’t do it.
