How can I convince my parents to let my eyebrow pierced?
Okay so my parents are Mormons and their religion says its wrong for a person to pierce their bodies, because the body is a temple, or some shit and I really want an eyebrow piercing and I'm not Mormon is that anyway to convince my parents to let me enter my eyebrow? Incidentally, I offered to pay for it, etc.
There is no reason to do so. There is no reason to change things in your body or face where they belong, just to get attention. No, not necessarily believe that the body is a temple, but I saw a lot of very nice ladies mess up their beauty with piercings or tattoos (there is a nice check to the girl in our store Power has three nails pierced below one eye on the cheekbone a small tattoo that can mean something to someone and an eyebrow pierced. Is getting a piercing a sin?
People have told me that it is a sin to have piercings. But when we die and go to Heaven, Our bodies do not go, our soul does.
My dad was telling my mom (who has a tattoo of a dragonfly and my and my brother’s names) that it is a sin to have tattoo. a week later, he got one.?? and as my grandmother told my mom, “You have a tattoo of one of God’s creatures and the names of two children God created. What is wrong with that?” I really believe that. Also, i heard that in the Bible, it says that nose piercings were a husbands gift to his wife to tell her that he will always respect and care for her, no matter how the relationship comes out. Is this true? please, honest answers and no religion jokes.
Not loving your neighbor is a sin, getting a piercing is a free choice, getting multiple piercings is considered a disorder. God loves even those who have piercings.
