Lip Piercing problem …?
On September 1, 2009, I got snake bites – two piercings on each side of the lower lip. From pierced with a 14 gauge and 14 gauge rings were placed on the right track by a professional. I took good care of them, However, the hole inside one of them is its immense … sorta bothers me. Is this something to be concerned, or is just my body trying to heal around the shape of the ring? If I take a picture, I'll try to do on request.
iv had a piercing that some (The lip) and I think it's safe to say IV had almost every problem under the sun with them. This lip just trying to heal and accustomed to having pieces of metal in them. in the coming weeks, your lip should return to normal. Do not worry, even if it takes a little more, and not its weird:) if you still need more information please ask
Body Piercing?
has anyone had a surface piercing done on the wrist? If so, did you have any problems with it? Thanks.
not with infections but just with it being on the top of the wrist.
I’ve never had a surface piercing, but I know many people who have, and I have researched the subject quite a bit.
I’ve only ever met one person with wrist piercings.
They were done on the tops of their wrists, and sadly, one had been torn out, and left a rather unsightly scar.
Being that it is on your wrist, this piercing has a very high risk of getting torn out, and basically just being “bumped around” a lot.
Getting dressed, for example, it may get caught on your shirt, etc.
As with all surface piercings, these may take months to heal, and many surface piercings may NEVER fully heal.
So, take all of this into consideration before deciding…
Talk to your piercer. He or she will know a great deal about it. (Or at least they should.)
