If you live in Europe or the UK (or just don’t mind paying for your things via euros) you can try crazy-factory.com . I haven’t had any experience with them, but know several people who have.
kingsbodyjewelry.com is close to BAF in quality, but a lot cheaper. Their stone plugs are synthetic, and a lot cheaper.
I like piercedfish.com but they have a smaller selection than BAF. Most of their stone is synthetic as well, but still looks good and isn’t as expensive. steelnavel.com and bodycandy.com have more acrylic jewelry, but still some cute stuff.
