Why body peircing people?

What do you think of people who receive as septal perforation … .. … lip, eyebrow … etc. not think it's for fun or not? Id love to know the opinion

I can not imagine what kind of pleasure that might come out of this. I think part of it is to stand out from those who do not like and mix with people I love.

Body Piercings: Why do people get them?

Just wondering, to anyone out there with piercings other than their ears, what drives you to get them? Is it just rebellion, or is it for sexual gratification?What is your take?

I am neither for or against piercings,don`t mind who has them, just curious..

I used to have loads of piercings as a teenager, about 25 I think, but all are out now except for tragus and a couple of ear cartilidge ones. The only other one I’d wear now is my tongue, just because I loved the look of it, but that rejected after a year for some reason. The reason I got them done – well I was 13 or 14 when I began and that was just to be cool, if I’m honest. I knew they didn’t have to be permanent things, and it was just the thing all the kids were doing. Then I got a little addiction for it and I loved the attention I’d get from my school mates lol, so I kept getting them. Basic reason – I was immature! Luckily I didn’t plaster myself with silly tattoos that I wanted back then, that would have been unfortunate! I have two tattoos now that mean the world to me and as I said, very few piercings, not that I judge those with. Not saying everybody who is pierced is immature – that was just me
