How many of us have over 55 piercings? What? Where? Your age and sex?
[I'm 56 year old woman and I have 3 ear piercings – 2 in one ear), it's fun! I must have been tired when I posted this question because it meant more than 55 years, no more than 55 piercings.
I am a woman and I have 0 piercings are not ….. even in my ears. I used Having two — one in each ear, but I had almost as — A infection in the piercings are disgusting — 55 holes is horrible …
Question for piercers/tattooists: is there a part of the body you feel uncomfortable working on?
What do you think when clients are nervous about certain things, like maybe female nipple piercings? I’m probably being paranoid, but I was thinking about getting a tattoo on my armpits and kind of nervous about my guy working there! It would be my 4th tattoo.
It’s pretty normal for clients to be nervous. Part of what makes a good piercer (or tattoo artist) is being able to help them through the process in a positive manner and setting them at ease. A lot of people want piercings, but are worried about the process (usually the pain, which is why there are so many people asking about it here).
What part of the tattoo are you nervous about? I’m sure he’s tattooed at least a few before you, so don’t think it’s a strange request. Another part of being a good tattoo/piercing artist is being comfortable with the human body, in all it’s shapes and sizes. The only time I ever feel uncomfortable with a part of anyone’s body is when I have to tell them to take a shower and come back (it does happen, some people are just nasty!)
Just tell your artist that you’re feeling a little uncomfortable, I’m sure he will be able to put you at ease.
