Metal for body jewelry?
I understand that the body jewelry should be surgical steel, while sitting in meat to avoid infection. Now I have two PCs. navel jewelry, the type of decorations hanging from the bar. How to get green color off skin after wearing plated jewelry?
I know that the green color on the skin happens when the body’s PH levels and the metal plating cause a chemical reaction in the skin.
However, I’m wondering if anyone has any tips on how to prevent this from occurring? I enjoy my costume jewelry, and would like to wear it more often, but the ugly green color on the skin makes me shy away from it.
I was told once to coat the jewelry in clear fingernail polish, but this did not work.
Any other suggestions?
