How can I be an apprentice at a piercing shop?

Im 13 and want to learn to body piercing. I have 4 holes made by myself and I want to be a professional one day .. Can I take action now to achieve this objective in the future?

For the moment? Stop drilling. It's teaching you bad habits and do stupid things your body. You must be 18 before you can find someone to take him as an apprentice, and even then it is not easy to find an apprenticeship.

Self Teaching Body Piercing !!?

OK, so this may sound like a stupid question, but Im going to ask it anyway cause it just sums me up as a person, stupid that is lol. anyway, I am interested in learning how to body pierce and was wondering if it were possible to self teach like people do when they tattoo, I know some areas of the body have serious arteries running through like the tongue,so obviously I couldnt teach myself that, Im talking about ears and nose etc, the basic piercings, or do you need professionals to teach you all these things? Nice, serious answers please

If you did try to teach yourself, that will involve trial and error–so it is inappropriate to try it out, even on friends who might be willing “victims.” There is a great deal to know to be a safe piercer, and there are real risks of disease transmission to yourself or others if you try piercing without training.
