This is a heavier gauge navel piercing easier to cure than 14g?

I had my navel pierced at 14g twice and twice it has started to decline (Although to be fair, could have healed if I leave it longer). I was wondering if I went with a larger size, eg 10, 8, or 6 if it would be easy to care for and maintain? I know that the small size of the jewelry, the easier it is for the body to reject rather than heal around them. In addition, my stomach is pretty flat with not much has been said in my navel for piercing, and I thought it would be easier to find a longer bar for drilling could do more, if that makes sense. Anyone who has had this done prochedure or a similar situation, or any professional piercers can help me, he will be greatly appreciated. Thank you! (Also, keep your ignorant comments about "Ew, it's serious to you. You have to ring like crazy 12.)

I do not think. In addition, if the lip is no longer a high caliber who can be more difficult to maintain. Try inserting a differnt jewelry (such as 14-karat gold) and leave it at the time of full recovery. In addition to the consumption of alcohol in British Columbia, it allows some to reject it. And bar does not mean you have to be larger. I could not even be fit for it. Piercing the option is no more bc if you go too far you can begin to pose some problems. Good luck

what happens if a piercing is done smaller than the preferred gauge?

i know it sounds like a stupid question, but could anyone answer this without being mean?
i’m also curious about it because if you were to put the jewelry through the hole that’s made, wouldn’t that just stretch the hole larger?
also, do it give the body more of a reason to reject the metal that’s placed in it?
any info will be useful.
thanks for reading.

if a hole is smaller than the desired size- you need to stretch it. you will need a taper (a piercer can help you with this) stretch it. only go one size at a time- if its more than one size bigger – wait intil fully healed before moving to the next size. if you force the jewelry thru- it will tear ur skin. it will swell and hurt and pus and bleed and it will not heal properly. i have gauged my ears and i didnt have a taper and thought- o its not that big of a jump- il just push it thru…. worst idea ever! use a taper. clean it like a brand new piercing all thru the healing process (sea salt soaks and antibacterial soap and water). the more you irritate it- the more ur body will try and reject it.
