piercings and medical student?

i’m a medical student, but im also thinking of getting labrets or tongue piercings. i’m turning 18 and i think this is the best gift i could give myself. i already asked my parents about getting them and they SOMEHOW allowed me to get one. but my huge problem is, im a medical student (but i’m planning to shift to another course, maybe nutrition) and here in the philippines, the schools have issues with these kind of body art.
do you think this will be diffcult for me? do you have any suggestions of other upper body locations to be pierced?
