I got my Tragus pierced a couple days ago and..
It didn’t hurt when i got it done but now a couple days later it is killing me. I have been cleaning it and have been putin all the required stuff on it. Was yours like this when u got it done and if you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

This is a Tragus piering if you didnt reconize the name
cartilage piercings are notorious for being sore all throughout the healing time and some people find them to be occasionally sore afterwards.
As long as you continue to clean it and not touch it with dirty fingers, the soreness will lessen and likely go away once it’s healed. It’s completely normal for a tragus piercing to hurt a couple days after you get it pierced.
That being said, it’s possible that it’s extra sore for some other reason. Is it swollen? If so, it’s possible that the diameter of the ring/ length of the barbell is too small, which means it might be digging into your skin causing extra pain. Also if you sleep on that ear, that could be another cause.
Take some sort of anti-inflammatory (tylenol, advil, ect) and you can try putting a little ice on it every once in a while. It should help some.
If it’s still absolutely killing you in a couple days or if you notice it’s getting worse, go back to your piercer and ask them whats going on.
