Covering up a piercing for McDonalds?

I’ve got my first shift for McDonalds tommorow. During the interview the interviewer told me that I would be ok to wear my eyebrow bar, as long as I put a retainer in so it was not noticeable.
Since the interview I’ve also had my wrist pierced *anticipates people saying it’s stupid/disgusting etc * and have no retainer for this, and I can’t take it out yet anyway. I requested long sleeved t-shirts at the welcome meeting, but they gave me short ones anyway :S So I’m not sure how I am going to cover this up…The policy says “The use of self-adhesive plasters, or similar, to cover jewellery or newly pierced visible body parts, is not allowed.” Do you think this would include bandages? What would you reccomend I do? Thank you

I would take a good, long hard look at your priorities. And a glance or too at your future job prospects as well. There are plenty of other places to work that don’t care where your piercings or tats are. Goth clubs, cheesy strip joints, tattoo/piercing bars, metro ice houses etc. Maybe you should try one of those places. I’m jus’ sayin’.
