How long will it take for my nose ring to close?

I have my nose pierced 7 weeks, and the need for future intervention surgery. I'm not supposed to be all the jewels in the body, and I wonder how long it takes to close once you get the pin? Belly Button/Navel Piercing ripped my skin, how long till it closes?

I got my belly button pierced May of 2009- so I’ve had it for over a year. Well today while cleaning it in the shower I noticed how much the piercing had migrated and how thin the skin above the bar of the ring was- you could see the bar through my skin. I know that my body was rejecting the piercing so I decided to take the ring out before it pushed the ring out through my skin. By the way- I cleaned it once everyday[whenever I took a shower] and took care of it so it wasn’t rejecting it from that. However, even though I took the jewelry out, my skin still ripped from my accidentally scratching it because I had an itch. My belly button/navel now looks disgusting, there’s a “U” shape of missing skin from where the piercing was. How long should it take to close and heal back together?
