How can I convince my father that can lip piercings?

I want my lip piercing. My father said no. He told less than 3 years when I am 18 years will not be able to stop, but until then no. woah…that’s a lot. I only have two. One in each ear. I don’t think my parents will approve if I get other parts of my body pierced.
