tragus piercing?
I know all the details I have heard that very seriously injured, but I have a pretty good tolerance pain. (I have two tattoos and many piercings) How long does it take to heal? How does it usually run? Details and advice please!

i know i have to let it heal but i want to know if there are piercings that wont close in 24 hours even if it is fully healed
because i know some piercings heal if you take out the jewlery even if your body is used to it. if you understand what i’m saying
for example if i had my septum pierced for a year and i took it out for 24 hours would it start to close?
the reason i’m asking is because i’m gonna be a firefighter and i can’t have piercings on the job for obvious reasons
also how much of a hole will it leave?

I would think lip piercings would stay for 24 hours. A nice alternative would be clear retainers. I use them at school, and I get away with 6 facial piercings!
A septum is the PERFECT stealth piercing. You flip the retainer up into your nose and it’s GONE. Nobody at my school that doesn’t see me outside of school knows I have a septum piercing, and it’s awesome. And once I leave the building, I just flip it right back down and it’s out there!
So, most piercings aren’t even necessary to take out. But if you are hellbent on taking it out, I’d try one of the lip variety. The nostril is a definite no-no; that will close in a heartbeat. Oh, and it also depends on how long you have had it.
