hidden body piercings

makes the metal detector beep airport jellery stainless steel body?
I have 18 mm stainless steel tunnels in my flesh earlobe I can buy steel tunnels that have a compartment for hiding the pills in them lol:) and I have many body piercings jellery stainless, but the metal detector at customs detect because it does not detect the large titanium rod that I have in my thigh bone and it could shoot hiding pills herbal Top in them: thank you)
Many of today's detectors also have a monitor that will show you where the metal is in your body and how it there, so small pieces of body jewelry, I do not think they broke it, but if I did, I am sure that all looking at you, the guard knows what happened … generally ordered to remove all metal objects in person … but if more titanium rod in his thigh, may not be the best
(Bored?) Survey about tattoos and piercings.?
If money were not an option, and employers were not influenced about who they hire based on physical appearance…
How many tattoos and piercings would you have?
How many do you currently have?
Are there any specific tattoos and/or piercings that you want, but are prevented from getting because of future employment/career opportunities? What are they?
I am just interested because I feel that potential employers in my future are holding me back from what I want to do in my life. I already have ten tattoos and some piercings, but all can be hidden by clothing. I feel that if money weren’t an option, and people in the work force weren’t so judgmental, I would be a lot more into body modification.
To the guy who answered first… if you don’t like tattoos and piercings, get out of the section.
I have three tattoos and seven piercings. I’ve had more piercings in the past, but have taken them out for various reasons.
I’m a preschool teacher with intentions of becoming a high school teacher, so my job definitely affects why I don’t have more tattoos. However, I have a half sleeve in progress right now because I’ve given up trying to care about other people when they obviously don’t give a shit about me and my feelings. It’s taken me a year to get to the realization that I’d rather hide my tattoos than not get them at all. I do believe that in professional situations, one should cover tattoos and piercings because, to me, tattoos and piercings are very, very personal. I don’t talk about my past life unless prompted to in professional situations, such as work, therefore I don’t flaunt my tattoos and piercings. I’m also a sensitive person who gets their feelings hurt if the wind blows a leaf, so I willingly hide my tattoos to avoid harsh judgment.
I think that if pressures from careers didn’t exist, there would be more tattoos. I certainly would be heavily tattooed by now if I could have afforded it. But judgment doesn’t just come from work. (see comment one). I actually just had a debate about this in my augmentative writing class. It’s hard to explain to people with preconceived notions that tattooed people are no different from normal people. Society tries to tie us in with thugs and prostitutes, when people who are untattooed can just as easily be. There are shitty lawyers, doctors, priests, etc everywhere that are not tattooed. The funniest part of the whole argument was the fact that I stated I was a preschool teacher and then told the group that I had tattoos. I asked them if they thought I was a piece of shit. They said no, but will they change their opinions now that they know my dirty little secret? Some of them admitted they thought people with tattoos are white trash, unprofessional, and untrustworthy until the debate.
So there you have it. Sorry about the rant!
