healing times for body piercings

Long-term effects cartelidge drilling?
im having a problem with one of my piercings cartelidge. I mean I was transferred to the i about 4 and a half years ago, and is used to infect early, but was very well for a long moment. but now for a couple of weeks, much has been bothering me and makes the red cartelidge my ear. I read somewhere, I do not know if it's true or not, that after about five years, your body will stop trying to heal and cartelidge deterioration in the ear … is that what is happening to me? suggestions of what to do about it? And if that is what happens if I did I came out to fix it?
had it pierced with a piercing gun, could have damaged the cartilage. i cartilage tear me when I was done with a gun drill. these holes must be done with a regular piercing needle by a professional. You should remove it and let heal and have been redone. Of course that could be an allergy to the slope. Mine would recover and become infected and can come and go. Finally they took him out after a piercer told me it would heal and repierced. You can feel the bump on top of the ear and perforation of age. I've never had to redo.
surface body piercing?!!?!? help!?!?!?
i was just wondering, whats the difference between surface body piercings and normal ones (eg, tongue, eyebrow, belly button, lip etc tec) or do they mean the same?!!?!? i am sorry if thiis a stupid question!!
i REALLY wanna get my lower back pierced or my wrist (the top part)! and i KNOW that the rejection rate is very very high, but i am willing to go thru it, i was wonderin if surface body piercings are the same as te ones mentioned above then i dont see why the rejection rate is so high, cos i have had my belly button, lip, tongue, nipple, eyebrow, nose and lol, down there pierced and none of them have ever been a problem at all!!
anyways thank you sooo much for ur time!!
oh and i dont really wear any of my peircings, (and no they havent healed up and they all ok!!) and if i do i dont wear them at the same time! lol, incase u thought i looked like a big hole, lol!!!! hahaha!

Surface piercings are ones that are on a flat part of your body. They require special jewelry that either is shaped quite a bit like a staple, or jewelry that is totally flexible. The higher rate of rejection is due to increased strain on the piercing. If done correctly and by an experienced surface piercer, the piercing will be more likely to heal correctly. You will also need to take very good care of it, I suggest H2Ocean piercing aftercare. I have had my sternum pierced and my back corsetted (laced). The sternum piercing healed fine. The back lacing is really only temporary as there is no way to get it to heal because of the bending and flexing your back endures. BMEzine.com will provide you with some pictures and information.
