Navel Piercing scar .. Years ago!?

So, the first year I had a navel piercing because I wanted one for the moment more. A year later, had to take because my body rejected the piercing and the skin thinner. Well, it was more the two years since then, but there is still a scar an inch in length / thickness. It is quite small and can not see if you look closely, but always seems serious. Is there a way to make the scar less visible? Is this some scars navel piercings, or is it me?

with vitamin E and tea tree oil, which has really helped, I feel rejected his navel, it sucks when that happens with surface drilling.

Can anybody explain why some people are obsessed with tattoos and piercing?

I personally dont think its cool to have tattoos all over your body.It grosses me out.Its seems like more and more people are getting them.Are they trying to emulate some rock stars?From what i know geeting a tattoo or piercing is such a painful procees..what i dont understand is why people go through this abominable practice when they know they cant get rid of it..

you can get rid of tattos althou its expensive. I dont like it for myself but I get that some people just want to have them. Some people view it as a form of self expression some people feel that it is a spiritual passage and some people just think that it is cool. I think that a large part of it is that people need some way to feel they belong, and they find that they are accepted by a group of people by doing things they can compare. Much the same way men do with car shows, and trekies do with Star Trek conventions there are tatoo conventions. People seek a sense of belonging, where they find it varies some in church, some with cars, some with a tatoo parlor.
