How do i clear up a lip ring infection?

Almost a week ago, i got my monroe pierced professionally. It’s still very red, it gets crust, & occasionally pusses. Other websites say that’s normal, & it’s the body’s natural way of healing the piercing. I use anti-bacterial soap, seal salt, & alcohol free mouthwash to clean it. I just want to know if the redness, crust, & puss will go away.

Its not puss it’s lymph, it’s what causes the crust. Don’t over clean it. Either use mild antibacterial soap or the sea salt soaks once or twice a day. Over doing it is going to aggravate it.
