What is your opinion of a pharmacist or doctor with facial piercings? ?
scenario … you consult a pharmacist in your community and find that he / she has multiple facial piercings (lip, ie, nose, eyebrows, etc.) .. Describe your honest opinion or print first as a patient. The reason I ask is because I am curious what the general public thinks of this piercing professional field. I'm studying pharmacy but also as a body piercing. I hope one day does not seem "professional."
my doctor has blonde hair and peircing cutting edge (no kidding) and I do not think less of him. Of course, I'm only 25 and I've had my share of piercings
Body piercings and job interviews?
I am 16 years old and applied to Pizza Hut and Golden tans for my first job. I have a small stud in my lip and a small hoop in the side of my nose. I can take the lip stud ot easily, but the hoop in my nose is a bit more hard to take out. People used to tell me when i was younger “if you have body piercings they wont hire you you will look trashy” Ok, I think its a bit ridiculous people judge someone based on looks but whatever. I know i am a good student and person, just because of a way to express yourself in no means am i trashy.
Pizza Hut and Golden Tans should not and most likely will not discriminate against your peircings but I’d look at it this way: Some people will like the piercings, but all will like you without them so if you want to please to the majority and have a greater chance of nailing the job interview, ditch the piercings. Now in the real world of corporate america, you absolutely can’t have piercings like that. We live in a world of hypocrisy, of preachers who say “judge not by outward appearance” and yet they do it everyday.
So in conclusion you can either keep your piercings and be broke, or ditch them and get a paycheck.
