How is hydrogen peroxide good for infected ear piercings and what are the alternatives?

My ears have been infected and pus oozed blood a few days ago. My mother put Hydrogen Peroxide and Neosporin on it and has no pus or anything, since that, however, still feels swollen and hard / difficult to turn the earring. I came here to seek answers and I read of hydrogen peroxide bad for her, which brings me to my original question. How is hydrogen peroxide good for infected ear piercings and what are the alternatives?

yeah I heard that the drying of hydrogen peroxide and take longer to heal. Better than nothing though. If you have professional experience, to give something to clean the ear, but if not, then mix the sea salt and water and apply with a cotton swab. save the twist. and I heard Vaseline is good for drilling, because it keeps things out of the hole, like bacteria, but have not proved facts. What other body piercing do you think will be accepted by society like ear piercings are?

Ear piercings are really common and its not “unprofessional” to wear them. Pretty much 90% of all girls have their ears pierced and get them at a young age. What other piercings do you think will be this way? Belly Button piercings are very common and so are nose piercings, but what do you all think?

I think that all piercing will be accepted soon. Of course we sell body jewelry and hope thats so, but in the last couple of years we have had older -like over 60-women buying belly rings for themselves. Lots of parents come in and buy body jewelry for their kids. Usually cute stuff like care bears is alot more accepted than the goth suff.

When anybody says anything about how can I sell it (can’t see my piercings) I tell them that it is not permenant like a tattoo, and you can always take it out or wear a retainer. They seem to accept it more then. labrets & eyebrow rings get more accepted every year and we are in a rural area not a big city.
