Is it possible to get my belly button repierced?

I got my belly button pierced around April at a dermatologist. It was fine the first couple of months but it started 2 become extra sensitive after a while. Then it got infected & after a while my body started 2 reject it so i had 2 take it out. Now itz healed but therez a small but not huge scar. Can i get it repierced still?

I took my ring out when i was pregnant, it closed, and i got it repierced. It worked out fine for me,,, Once i got my cartalidge (sp) pierced and my body rejected it, i know this sounds weird but i really believe it was the place that it was pierced. I would get it pierced again but in a SLIGHTLY different spot, a bit higher or lower maybe,,, I actually had to do that with my belly ring cause my skin was a little more stretched out, then second pierceing actually looked better than the first good luck
