re-piercing my belly button?

so i had my belly button pierced freshman year but had to take it out because my dance team didn’t allow body piercings. I took it out and of course, it closed up and is now slightly scarred. I will be graduating soon and am looking forward to re-piercing my belly button for college and was wondering if any has done it? does it hurt worse the second time?? i didn’t think i hurt that bad the first time but i just wanted to know if it hurts worse to re-pierce it. All my friends are telling me it hurts worse to re-pierce scar tissue.

I had mine pierced 3 times before i could actually keep it. The scar tissue just makes it to where it requires more force to go in. It looks normal, as if its the first time it was pierced. It will be fine and it doesn’t hurt any worse. If anything it’ll hurt less because you know what to expect.
