what to use to clean my piercings to keep my ear is infected?

Why are people so ignorant when it comes to body piercings?
All I ever see on here about piercings is ridiculous advice such as using peroxide to clean the piercing or to twist the jewellery, some even suggesting that piercing guns are ‘the best way’ to get ‘pierced’.
People ask questions about their piercings which can be easily resolved but they always pick the most ignorant answer by someone who obviously has no idea what they are talking about.
It infuriates me to see people taking such poor advice and then they wonder why things go wrong with their piercings – have some common sense and actually listen to people who know what they’re talking about, not the morons who think ‘piercing’ themselves with a gun stud is ok and a normal thing to do.
I know where you are coming from. It can also be pretty dangerous for the person who takes the lousy advice… Really, you’re better off just to ask someone at the piercings place where you got them done on what they suggest, cause they would have the best knowledge. Also, it’s not only piercings that this is about, it happens with all sorts of things.
