What is the risk of septal perforation?

I want one. but my friend told me that "my nose could give" and a lot and shit. I do not think so. I think it's just an idiot, because I've never heard of this happening before. and my body very well anyway piercings. but only to confirm, is there risk (other than HIV, which I am very good care of my piercing in the first place)?

I think that the risks are, that means that you do not. Infection and being duped.

How do you care for a female nipple piercing?

I just got one of my nipples pierced and I want to know how you care for it. I got some salene nasal spray stuff and I’m using that right now because my piercer said thats fine. This is my first body piercing aside from having my ears done, so I’m unaware on how to care for these body piercings! So, I have the salene nasal spray stuff that i drip onto the piercing area, and I’m kind of turning the piercing. Any other suggestions to help it heal faster with little chance of infection? Thanks!
…also, i want products i can use that i can buy at a local drug store. i don’t want to order the H2Ocean stuff offline or from the piercing place because I think its overpriced. Can I just buy some sea salt and use warm water too??

Yes you can mix your own sea salt soaks. Mix 1/4-1/8 teaspoons of sea salt with 8oz very warm water. You don’t want water so hot its uncomfortable, but it should be as warm as you can tolerate easily. If you want to be fancy you can use distilled water and microwave it, but I mix mine with water out of the tap and haven’t had a problem yet.

You can also take a look at using emu oil on the area to help it heal. This works to protect your skin from overdrying due to cleaning. Emu is available online from lots of retailers includeing body jewelry retailers like bodyartforms.com It’s not a vegetarian product if that sort of thing bothers you.

Just keep the area clean, avoid putting alcohol or anything harsh on it, and generally leave the area alone aside from cleaning.
