Using epoxy resin to make a necklace with real butterfly wings:)?

Hey guys, I wondered if I could use the resin epoxy to make a pendant with real butterfly wings. approximately three weeks, I found a dead butterfly on the street and picked it up. I put in a container airtight. I removed the body of the wings and now I have four independent monarch wings, which are superbly beautiful. My sisters love the real butterfly Jewelry wing, I saw in art exhibitions, so I wanted to make necklaces for Christmas …. gettin to the point I want to know how I make these necklaces, without damaging the wings. I bought some epoxy in the shop the other day because I read online that you can use resin to protect wings, but do not know how. Can anyone help? * I kill a butterfly, I do not think that just to make jewelry * Here is an example http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2134/2541795108_068fb1d55b.jpg

Stuff like butterfly wings is completely dry when it usually receives, it is not a problem to integrate resin (or coat with it). The problem with embedding anything with moisture in the resin is that it can cause bubbles or excessive turbidity Later in the resin … so many things that contain residual moisture is generally "cooked until they are completely dry (such as wooden sticks or bare) and / or "closed" the first of various routes. Not that if you have a regular epoxy resin (EnviroTex Lite) or the new "adjusted" version called Easy Cast, but (which can be emptied molds in greater depth, but may also have a weakness or flexibility problems later), but the example has shown that it could work well with any resin is shallow and inside a cell. "There is much information on the use of resins such as the one on this page of my site: http://glassattic.com/polymer/other_materials.htm … for this application, click on the call special sub-category * * Standing In cells that is in epoxy resin and a little more than half of the list box at the top of the page also not sure what you mean not to "harm" the wings … I do not know if they are difficult to separate uniform, for example. If so, I guess it could be reached first to give greater rigidity wings and cohesion, then cut … or sandwiched between two pieces of clear tape, then cut the shape you want (the surface of packing tape will not be displayed on the brilliance of the resin). Can you be allergic to staples left inside the body after surgery?

I had spinal surgery in december and just found out that they did not remove all of the staples. I previously had a severe allergic reaction to a stent in my kidney. I am unable to wear jewelry because I have reactions to that too.

Yes. My wife’s aunt had to have surgery because in a previous surgery she had metal put into her body and her body reacted to it. Inform your doctor of your misgivings, and your doctor should be able to explain why they made that decision or else be able to take out the metal. It is possibly that they could use a different type of metal that wouldn’t cause a reaction.
