I'm 13 and I think my lip piercing at home. I know it's not a good idea you go to a professional yatayatayata. Have done much research, I know exactly how. but I have a slope to accommodate the swelling, and able to exercise properly. I want to go to the heat element and the purchase of a vacation. You should sell no problem. They were my friends, no matter how old you have to buy jewelry. But I'm not sure about the tools. But indeed, it should not matter how old you are. Just go try it.

Monroe Piercing Indent?

So, I got my monroe pierced a week ago. It was swollen REALLY bad for about 3 days. It cratered into my lip on both sides, because the bar is to short. Now, a week later, it’s not swollen on the outside, just inside. & it’s still indented inside. Everyday it gets a little bit better. I KNOW i should get a longer bar, but i can’t. I got it pierced out of town, and where I live has no shops, or anywhere to buy any body jewelry. So, if I just keep cleaning it, and caring for it, will it eventually go back to normal?

It’s still in the healing process. As long as you continue to clean it like you were told to when you got the piercing, it should heal fine. As for the indent, mine used to do that when I still had it; it did it up until I took it out for work & forgot to put my retainer in. Hahaha. But really, everything should turn out fine. Just make sure to clean it!

As for people who think she shouldn’t have it… I respect your opinion and all, but it’s her body, not yours. If you don’t like piercings, and most likely tats, then you should probably stay away from this part of the site. Just sayin’.
