Heaven Fest in Colorado and the Christian way?

I thought that Christians in general, tattoos and piercings discouraged, and I know that the Bible says women to dress modestly. But when I look at the fans and members of the Band Fest in the sky, I see the tattoos, piercings, revealing clothing and appear to be common. I noticed these things in other places, but the style of the festival, which attracted my attention. Is this a new tendency among young Christians? Or is it that girls body piercings tattoos, and dress sexy are the trends in general and for young Christians and artists Christian music, are just following the latest fashion?

The rule prohibiting a tattoo of body is in the Old Testament. Some Christians "Cafeteria" use the excuse that "Jesus came from, the rules of the Old Testament does not count" whenever remember what they are doing is a violation of the laws of God in the Old Testament (though mysteriously seem to forget that when they use the application pieces the Old Testament to condemn homosexuals.)

What do you think about a christian getting a tattoo?

I want to get a guitar tattoo with a cross in the guitar.. as if it were painted on it.. the guitar.. ahah.. and like.. idk.
I was having an interesting disscussion with a friend of mine and she said that there was something in the bible about not doing certain things with your body (piercings, tattoos, branding, etc.) b/c its like a disgrace to your body or something like that.. idk. but.. I want this tattoo b/c it shows the two main things in my life.. and I know that would never change.. even if i had like.. my hands chopped off somehow.. music would still be apart of me.. ahah..

i am a christian too and i think it is okay to get a tattoo. it is your body and as long as you’re not putting anything that is offensive to YOU or God or others then i really think you are straight. I mean i have one piercing and i mean it’s okay. you should pray about that and i know god will answer you because he is always there. all i know that im most likely gunna get a tattoo and i will pray before i get it
