tongue piercings = poor dental hygiene? [10 points]?
So I thought about doing my tongue pierced and I was reading a couple of threads trying to calm my anxiety. But there are still things I molesta. "I heard people constantly strong bite and hurt loco. as I heard that the disease causes chipped teeth tongue piercing gum / / and dental horrible. "I heard a horror story really bad where the metal in your mouth will eventually wear out and can enter the system causing damage to your body: Sy Finally, swallow the balls concerns bar. In addition, if I ever wanted for a few years or more, leave nasty "brand? Is these "really need to worry? What are ways to avoid infection by bacteria? And to keep my health in check?
I recently got my tongue pierced the first time (which is still healing) and I am a bit worried about those things you mentioned. However, it takes some getting used to, but if you take your time to eat after you launch it, and start with soft foods during the first 3 days getting used to, we do not bite. The only way you jump teeth problems is whether its stupid to fight against your teeth, do not play well with him, and your teeth will be fine. After piercing the tongue does not mean lack of hygiene … keep it clean like any other piercing. While brushing your teeth as usual, and use a mouthwash after your whole mouth stay healthy, be transferred or not. Make sure you keep your piercing after care instructions properly during the healing process, and not get impatient and start changing jewelry. As to swallow the weight, I have never heard of this happening, and my brother used to work in a piercing studio. As long as you make sure the balls are screwed on the bar, you will not have to worry. And even if you accidentally swallow a bullet, which are small and only change your system and on the other side without causing damage, like when you swallow gum, corn, and other things your body can not break down. As to the last line on the way prevent infection and keep your health, once again, just follow the instructions of his shots on how to care for her. Once the healing process is like brushing your teeth often and use mouthwash, and drilling will be healthy and free of infection!
Nipple piercing question?
I had my nipples pierced a year ago, my husband did them and did a wonderful job, (please no negative comments about that, all health precautions etc. were taken).
I’ve got a several questions:
My nipples are slightly flat by nature and the piercing helped correct that some currently I’ve got 14 guage curved barbells in them, if I replace them with straight barbells will that further correct the problem to make them stick out more or is there a chance of them being rejected by the body and migrating out?
The current piercings are horizontal, I’ve seen many where there is a vertical and horizontal piercing with barbells. Is that possible given the information I’ve provided?
Which would be best for this; curved or straight barbells?
Obviously the same technique be used as before – would the new piercing need to be in front of or behind the old?
The existing piercing, it needs to be removed while actually doing the new, but would it need to be out during healing?
You’ll get some better suggestions on the forums at www.bodymod.org than you will here =)
There are several professional piercers that are members there that can help you out with this.
