body piercings close up

Body Piercing question.?
I have piercings snake bite, and they are a little twisted and don `t look right when I ring! I be able to use the rings, so `m taking them back and punch correctly this time. How long does it usually take for the rings to close the mouth completely, and the scars of being highly sensitive? Because I do not want big red dots next to my liprings again during drilling.
You should take a few weeks to close. With regard to scars or marks if you took care of the property and does not take and put them where they were healing all those who left two small points. They seem Itty Bitty pinpricks.
wanting snake bite piercings…?
so i really want snake bite piercings and i’m trying to get as much info before approaching my mom about it. i’m 17 and think i should be able to do what i want with my body, but that’s not how she sees it. questions: if i take them out, will they close up fairly quickly? i know about retainers. but i’m thinking about my future. also, if they close up, will they leave scars? if they do, can i get rid of the scars with like medicine? please help! i want them soooo bad!
here’s the thing. at my school, no one has snake bites, so it is unique. and i’m not trying to be like everyone else. conformity is rediculous.
I had my labret pierced (center of my bottom lip) when I was 16 and kept it in for a little over 3 years
When you have a piercing long enough, a healed tube of skin forms on the inside called a fistula. It’s the same thing as getting your ears pierced when you’re little, if you wear earrings for the first 5 or 10 years and take them out, chances are you’ll be able to put them back in a year or 20 years later because the inside is healed in that tube shape. That healed tube basically keeps the hole from closing up.
Think of it this way, if you get a paper cut, you have two pieces of open skin next to each other, so when they heal they stick back together. But if you take your fingertips and hold them together, no matter how long, they’re not going to grow into each other because the skin is healed up and solid already.
Lip or cheek piercings area little different because one side of the piercing is inside the mouth, which heals a lot faster and is designed to close up wounds to avoid infection.
When I took my lip ring out, the opening on the inside of my lip was completely sealed off and healed within 2-3 days, but the healed fistula on the outside of my lip was still there.
So long explanation short, the inside of my lip it totally healed, but I do have a tiny indent or hole on the outside of my lip that will be there for the rest of my life. Because it’s technically a hole, there are not creams or oils that will get rid of the mark.
I hope I could shed some light on the matter for you, and don’t worry about people telling you that “That’s so totally uncool because like everyone totally has it”. If it something YOU like and YOU want and a way YOU want to express yourself and YOU will take proper care of, then you should get it, even if you do have to wait until you’re 18.
Good luck with your parents hun
