Im gonna get ready to go to college for EMT and I was wondering how well my piercings, the tongue split and other things that fly with my choice of profession. Of course I learned from my piercings while Arnt easily visible, opinions anyone?
I am a paramedic and have seen people with piercings as long as they are not grotesque should be good. Congratulation their career choice. God knows we need more people here!
Why is it that most businesses don’t hire people with piercings, tattoos, or other forms of body modification?
I love tattoos and piercings and everything of that nature. I think of it as art and I think that it’s a beautiful form of self-expression.
I know that body modification is looked at as taboo in most places, but I just can’t seem to wrap my mind around why people judge people who’ve decorated their body to be bad. I’m very curious as to what the mentality behind it is.
people stereotype, lots of people with body art are part of gangs and do drugs, people dont want to take the risk of employing one of those people.
