How can I get a degree in body piercing?
I recently discovered that I have a passion for piercing. Not only for people do, but also rich. I was wondering how can I get a degree of reality and employment in the field of body piercing?
Bad Bad Bad! You can get a degree in body piercing. No, can not enter a room and get a job. Havet your health and Piercing License License. You can learn online or go to school. It depends on where you live. Go to your room and ask, they will.
What should I bring with me when I ask for a body piercing apprenticeship?
I’m certified in CPR and Blood Borne Pathogens. I have basic knowledge of body piercing, sterilization, cross contamination, etc.
I also put together a small portfolio of piercings I’ve done. All though they weren’t done in a shop or under supervision. Or should I leave that out due to the fact that piercing outside of a shop is unprofessional?
What else should I bring?
If you haven’t done an apprenticeship, then definately don’t own up to doing piercings before.
Good mentors do not want their apprentice to have previous ‘experience’, they want a blank canvas to teach good practice, not spend the whole time unteaching them bad habits. And they don’t want the drama if you gave someone hep or something…
Take any paper qualifications. Talk enthusiatically etc etc… Be friendly about it, not snobby.
