just after getting the navel pierced, is that you can take a shower (shampoo and body to get it)?

I just get my navel pierced today and I'm taking a shower is that you can get shampoo and body wash?

Several times the drilling can not even shower, bathroom when you get a navel piercing. But you take a shower, then you must make sure to rinse the piercing with water clear after the shower, so the soap does not irritate.

Gold or surgical steel? (body piercing)?

Im getting my nose pierced today and was wondering if buying a gold stud vs. the standard one (surgical steel i think?) would make any difference when it comes to chance of infection? Or is the surgical steel hypoallergenic?

A decent piercer will tell you they can’t pierce your body with gold, they have to do it with surgical steel.

I was told when i got my belly done that i couldn’t get it pierced with gold or silver had to be surgical steel. I’m sure he said something to do with infection but don’t really remember i got it done so long ago.

They will tell you that though. Yes the surgical steel is hypoallergenic.
