navel piercing? Anyone with a I have a small question.?
So I pierced my own navel. When using the ordinary 14 gauge body jewelry, leave a big hole-ish? Because it looks pretty thick. I have only one kind of ring is now. Thank you. And have a good week view. It seems that everything we find is 14 gauge. I guess, and it's silly when I think I hear the disc size in ears of the people, haha.
14 gauge is about 2 times wider than your outstanding positions. If you used a 14 gauge needle, and put in a piece of jewelry that is too small, I will heal wrong and wrong. A piercing 14 gauge, you need a piece of 16 gauge jewelry in it, which is a size larger than the positions in your earrings. The piercing should always be done with a needle that is one size larger than you want, so leave room for swelling. If you pierced with a 14 and 18 have a jewel that, once again, it will heal crooked. Your best bet is to let it heal and get professionally. This way, you know everything will be done correctly. And in the future, never boring yourself. You put yourself at risk of irritation, infection, scarring, rejection, and if you're not careful, hepatitis.

Talk to your piercer. Navel piercings are the most common for tears and infections, so you probably pick a large enough size that it is less likely to cause you problems. After looking online, see what sizes are the most common for the styles of jewelry you like and request one of those when you get your piercing done.
