how bad is the piercing scarring?
turning 14 and probably gonna get my belly pierced.. how bad will the scarring be if i take it out? how about nostril?
any better suggestions for me to ask for for my birthday? i have a party planned, i already have material things i want and i kind of want a new piercing. i just don’t want an ugly after-effect.
i’m really sure i’m almost done with my growing. developed sooner than most. 5′8” and a ‘woman’s body’ haha if that makes any difference with the stretching problem..
and also, how will the belly piercing change if i lose weight? because i’m working on that.
The belly button scar is noticeable. Much more noticeable than a nose piercing scar since the gauge of a standard belly button piercing is larger.
Although you might be over the big growth spurt, you’re not done growing until your early 20s. And if you’re losing weight, then it’s very possible that your piercing will migrate.
You should really wait until you’re at least 16 to get your navel pierced if not until you’re 18. I’d get something that wouldn’t change much due to natural growth or weight loss like ears or a facial piercing if your parents will allow that. Maybe a tragus or industrial.
