body piercing pros and cons

Monroe or belly?

Ok, so my mother decided to let me or my navel pierced or punctured Monroe. I wish my Monroe pierced again but I am good at both. As Monroe because it's there and I have to lift his shirt to appear (I think it is a bit sticky) but I like body jewelry navel please help me and tell me decided advantages and disadvantages of the two buncher THANKS

I have a monroe and a belly ring. If you are looking for a job or have a job, is probably best to get your belly done because most of the jobs will come out. Both are generally easy to clean, but with a piercing Monroe, who has to wash her mouth with mouthwash after everything you eat for a week to reduce the amount of bacteria that cause infections. With a belly ring, you just use water sea salt (which is capable of everyday use and Monroe.) piercing around the mouth to take a little longer to heal because of the amount of bacteria in mouth. Mine was red and swollen for a week. Since I could not get my job, I had to use a piece of a bandage on it for months. So if you do not want to look completely ridiculous in his work with a bandage on his face, watching her belly done.

Tongue Piercing?

I want to get my tongue pierced in a few weeks, but I still need to get my parents’ permission. My mom is almost guaranteed to say yes, but I still have to convince my dad. He thinks that I’m too young to make decisions about piercings because they can cause permanent trauma to your body. My aunt has had her tongue pierced twice, and it healed wonderfully both times. She is the one who will pay for my piercing and take me to get it. I need to compile a list of pros and cons for getting the piercings. For all of the cons though, I need a preventative measure if possible.
Thanks so much!
PS. I’ve asked this question already, and I got a lot of negative answers, rude opinions and such. Please only positive tips!

If done by a reputable person there isn’t much to worry about. The healing process can be a pain but if done with care then you’ll have no problems. I can think of very little in the way of cons. I’ve had my tongue pierced and I loved it. It never bothered me at all. It was easy to keep clean. I had to remove the piercing when I went in for a c-section with my third baby. I failed to put the jewelry back in right away and it closed up. I keep meaning to get it done again. I just don’t know if I want to go through the healing process all over again.

Anyway, it isn’t a big deal. Tell your dad you are going to get a huge tattoo. When he is freaking about that tell him you changed your mind and just want your tongue pierced. Maybe he’ll be so relieved that he’ll be all for it. :)

Edited to add: Good lord! Reading some of these responses is just too funny. Obviously these are from people who have never had a piercing. When I had mine done it did NOT hurt. I barely even bled. I had my piercing for more than 4 years and I never had a problem eating. It didn’t come close to banging my teeth and I’m not sure how it can affect the gums when it is nowhere close to the gums. If you have good oral hygiene then the piercing will stay clean. I got ended up switching to a titanium barbell because it was easier to keep clean.
