How old do you have to get a lip piercing without parental consent?

I live in the United States, and I really want my lip pierced in the bottom right side (such as snake bites – only one hand). My friends want piercings too but there is no through our parents until we no longer live in their houses (I do not think that's fair, because in our faces, our bodies.). I wondered how year must be to get the lip piercing I want without parental permission. It would also be helpful if someone could tell me how old you are obtain a pierced eyebrow and ear piercings without parental permission .. =) Thanks!

is it illegal to perform body piercing on minors?

my 13year got her tongue pierced I am under the impression that it is illegal for someone to perform this without parental consent.

it is illegal without parental consent in MOST states but im not sure what state you are in so its hard to answer this question without that information..

ps: if you dont want her to have it….just have her take it out you DO have that right as a parent. thats WAY too young for that sort of piercing.
