body piercing migration

Surfaced hip / groin Piercings?
I recently tried to punch the hips (surface piercings) and my body will reject the piercings in a week. I did some research on why it happened, and I may be educated in the surface drilling and a high risk migration or rejection. That this, I again crossed my hips / bottom 2 inches and 2 inches above the original hole where the piercings are at the bottom of my abdomen. Are piercings reject even if they are in my stomach? And also, what kind of jewelry should I put in?
Could not have done any research legitimate if not even know what type of jewelry belonging to a drilling surface. Enjoy your refusal and scars.
A question for professional piercers?
Is 16 a ok age to get a navel piercing? as thats the youngest age some piercing parlours will pierce.. or is the body still growing? If 16 is not a safe because migration and rejection rate is higher which age if definiately fine? A lot of people have no problems but is there a higher risk problems will happen at this age?
Thanks for answering
16 is fine. Growth does not affect the piercing at all. It really drives me batty that there are people out there saying that! Jewelry type and quality, proper guage, proper depth of piercing and proper aftercare are the ways to reduce migration and rejection. You will need to have your parent with you and provide proper identification to prove parent/child relationship. The studio can tell you what you need to bring for ID. Good luck!
