body piercing keloids

I have keloids on the chest, shoulders and jaw acne. I want my ears pierced. Should I?

So I have a pair of keloid scars in the chest, shoulders and jaw of acne in adolescence. I really wanted to get my ears pierced, but I fear they keloids. I have had surgery before the moon and other things removed from my body, but I do 'm not where I need to remove keloids. I heard that if you have any ear lobes pierced with a needle is less likely to keloids compared a firearm. Is this true? I also need professional advice on what to do. I really really want my ears reconstructed, I just want a small cap or down in my ears, nothing too crazy. Has anyone been in my place with everything and got a peircing? I need advice on what to do and if its wise to take the risk.

preferable to avoid the midline, but is more inclined to keloids,

I have a keloid on the back of my cartilage piercing, would getting a tattoo be a bad idea?

I have a keloid from a cartilage piercing, but other than that I have no other ones on my body, including my pierced ear lobes (and I have misc scars, none with keloids). Would it be a terribly bad idea to get a tattoo?

P.S. I just turned 17, where can I get it?

Keloiding is pretty rare. What you more than likely have is hypertrophic scarring. You can try to reduce it by doing hot chamomile teabag compresses, applying tea tree oil/emu oil, or using Crazy Chameleon soap.

You should be find if/when you get a tattoo. Depending on which state and which shops that are near you will dictate if you can even get a tattoo at your current age. Visit a shop or two and see what the tattoo age laws are where you live.
