Ok so I got my nipples pierced about 4 weeks ago and I am starting to look for new rings since you’re supposed to get smaller jewerly once they heal up..
I am unable to find any 14g solid red captive metal hoop at all! I need two, and I can’t find any on any website.
Is there a super website that I don’t know about?
I know that they make red captive bead rings in 14 gauge, but I haven’t had any luck in finding them my last search. Well, I did, actually, but only in acrylic, which I do not recommend that you wear in your healing nipple piercings. After healing is over, they would be fine, but not now. They gather too much bacteria.
What you’re looking for is titanium jewelry anodized with a color; in this case, red. Unfortunately, the closest thing I found was in pink or purple. Blue, black, and green were all other options, but no red. However, I did find red in straight or bent barbells. Personally, I think that you should stick with barbells anyway. They don’t move as much and reduce irritation, making your nipples heal faster.
Finally, unless you have some massively long barbells, there’s no need to replace the jewelry. You really shouldn’t change jewelry until the 4-6 month point anyway, unless it is an emergency. The way you make it sound, it is. But, if it’s not, don’t even bother changing jewelry. In review, if you really want red and your barbells are too long right now, get red-anodized titanium barbells.
