Does the skin grows back together?

If I ripped the skin, such as a belly button ring ripped up my navel in half will grow back together? The two halves of what has been started, there are pieces of the thickness of the skin at all – in fact I think my body tried to reject the piercing. I relatively young and I just want to know what to expect if he does or does not heal and what next steps should be.

Yes, it will be reformed simply that you keep it clean and make sure it is not infected ..

so.
i’m fourteen.
im interested in a body piercing, i have three piercings in each ear and even that was difficult to convince my mom of.
some people tell me i’m too young (particularly my mother)
the fact is, i know i’m too young and i’m willing to deal with absolutly anyting that could possibly happen.
you cant expect me to care what you think about this.
i probably don’t know you….as long as thats clear.
i’d love advice, and ideas on what might be a good piercing for me.
most people have said belly piercing, im just looking for other ideas.

Whatever you’re interested in, really. I wouldn’t go ballistic with the facial piercings yet though, because it will be hard finding a career.

You could always consider some different types of piercings on the ears, like rook, industrial, daith, tragus, snug, conch, ect.

Or if you’re looking for something on the face, start small. Maybe a tiny center or off center labret stud, or a little stud in your nose, or even an eyebrow if you wanted.
