Tattoo or piercing to celebrate the wedding anniversary of 15 years?

My wife and I have a great marriage. This early 40 and I'm late 30. It seems to be top 30. If we go with a piercing, what we get. The two are already underway. Thank you for the comments

Can your body get used to cheap earrings (cheap metal)?

I have had my ears pierced for about six years now and I have always had a problem with my ears getting irritated with cheap earrings. In the beginning the problem was much more severe almost to the point where I couldn’t wear earrings, however now it is not as big of a problem, however I find that if i tug on the earring or push the earring in a bit too rough then my ear gets red and irritated. Since my problem has gotten better from before, is it possible that if i continue wearing these earrings my ears can get used to wearing “cheap” earrings? Is it possible that your body develops a tolerance to this?

No. You can never develop a tolerance for cheap jewelry if you’re allergic to it.

If you’re allergic to fake earings, your ears will get infected again. Another thing to remember is that the hole might become bigger beause of it. I can not wear anything but 14 K. After wearing costume jewelry, i regret it ;because now the holes in my ear lobes are too big. I’ ve had it sutured twice and twice it opened up.
