What is the meaning (right) of the lips, eyebrows and nose rings?
I thought it might start to show my age (33 years ago), but I can not understand all the reasons that people go through these body parts. I can understand the reason behind a language center Navy ring and a ring of the clitoris … but everyone seems pretty ridiculous. I can also understand that some non-American cultures, the nose is small beam traditional. Therefore, the holes do not identify with those who within a group or subculture?

Keeping popular culture aside, is male body-piercing sinful?
I don’t think so. [According to Jewish tradition...] You’re supposed to return to G-d the way you entered into the world. Piercings aren’t permanent (because they can close up) so it is OK to get piercings (tatoos, for example, because they’re permanent would not be OK).
